Yoga & Shibashi Qigong
Here the ancient practices of yoga and qigong intertwine to nurture both body and spirit.
Through gentle yet powerful movements, these time-honored disciplines offer a pathway to healing and holistic well-being.
Qigong and Mindful Eating
Qigong is a sequence of slow movements. The benefits are numerous including gentle, easy-to-learn sequences that loosen stiff joints, keep the spine mobile, strengthen the core, and improve balance. Qigong elevates one's sense of well being and mood by increasing circulation and more.
Preliminary studies suggest that the slow movements in Qigong along with slowing of breath frequency could restore balance of the autonomic nervous system reducing stress and anxiety.
“Move your joints every day. You have to find your own tricks. Bury your mind deep in your heart, and watch the body move by itself.”
— Sri Dharma Mittra
Weekly Yoga and Qigong Classes
Shibashi Qigong
Qigong is offered as a Livestream Class Monday-Friday 8:30-9am (MT)
Shibashi is a set of Qigong developed by Lin Hou Sheng.
Qigong (pronounced chee gong) is an ancient Chinese healing art and self-cultivation system. This includes simple, gentle movement, posture, breathing techniques, self-massage and meditation.
Qigong energizes the body and calms the mind. With daily practice it is effective in preventing disease by strengthening the immune system and clearing energy blockages. Inner peace and inner strength are developed. Qigong is thousands of years old, yet it remains the perfect natural health system for the challenges of modern life.

As the days shorten and the light turns golden, our practice begins to soften too. This season invites us to slow down, to listen, and to move in ways that feel steady and kind.
Each Tuesday morning we gather to breathe, move, and settle the body. We practice postures, breathwork, and mudras that help us stay grounded through the change of season. Class ends in stillness, often with a poem that speaks to the heart of this turning time.
This is a simple weekly ritual of care and connection. A small circle of women, some from my old Whole Yoga community and some local friends, all showing up from our homes to practice together. New students are always welcome.
